Wow, tucking in the chin really does help. Thanks for that advice. Also, my roommate who is a nurse brought me home some "thick it" which as you would imagine thickens things including water to make it easier to drink. It does work but I don't like consistency with my water so I can't say I'm very fond of it. It is a suggestion, however, and it works really well with the elderly. I know you said you had an older client with the same problem.

Thanks Nicole. Also, tucking your chin down will help as well, esp. when drinking H20. Yes, H20 is the worse. I can't even take one swallow without choking. I am blending by vegetables with H20 in my HP3Champ blender and I don't choke on this.
