[cancercured] Re: wheat grass powder

Hi Amber -

I forgot a part to my recent posting - I add 1 cup of distilled water to my greens and fruit - very important! Otherwise it's a thick mess. Yikes...

I don't juice my greens, I blend them. I use to use a regular blender but I had to pre-chop the greens a bit. Now I use a Vitamix. I have an Omega juicer I've owned for years but I don't use it much anymore unless I juice the wheatgrass and right now I prefer powdered greens and my real green vegetables.

With blended greens you have to stir them up a bit throughout the day as you eat/drink them. Add more water if you like.

I also have a Jack LaLanne juicer that quite frankly I preferred over my Omega at times. It's fine for apples and carrots and basic fruit and vegetable juicing.

My TCM MD got me started on blending greens so I purchased "Greens for Life" by Victoria Boutenko, read about it a bit, and now I do my own thing.
