"They" forget a lot of things that are important. For instance, after
years of reactions, I discovered that I am allergic to novicaine (lidocaine) so
now the dentist gives me mapivocane. I discovered quite by accident on line
that when they give you provocol for endoscopies they accompany it with
lidocaine. I had an allergic reaction after my last endoscopy. I made sure
that the doctor now has a note about it in her records.
