Re: [cancercured] "Politics in Healing"/was Re: Hi Carmi Hansen .

This was my very first book I read in 2002, when digging for the truth in modern medicine, particularly cancer. I was on so many prescription drugs in 2002; they were literally killing me and I didn't even connect the dots. I lost three friends in two years from cancer--they all did chemo. They were all in their early 50's. I was meditating for direction--I didn't want to die like my friends. Thus, I was led to a wonderful herbalist (two days prior to my scheduled surgery, which I cancelled)--he cured my cancer. Unfortunately, he was prosecuted by the FDA and jailed in 2004. He and his family now live outside the USA. I was blessed that I was led to him before the FDA shut him down. I also am able to research and find alternatives for most ills--no more prescription drugs, hopefully, for me.

Grateful everyday,
Pattie
