Many of us have great experiences using Ascorbic Acid in various forms. I am also glad you use the word 'symptoms' because that's all we ever deal with. A symptom of something happening. Was it the virus? Was it the body simply eliminating toxins and not the virus? Is the virus incidental to what is going on? We surely don't know but what we do know is the body acts, not the germ.
We have often read, "It's the terrain".
Cadavers do not get colds, can't get diarrhea, can't cough. Laxatives do not work on them.
Regardless, it seems that Ascorbic Acid can do many things and have a great effect upon symptoms. Then we have any number of things people claim handles their colds and none of them involve Ascorbic Acid which I use.
My circle of family and friends have discovered the nasal spray Xlear which has a Xylitol base that supposedly makes germs/toxins slippery and they are easily flushed out of the system and it seems to work. ??
However, nothing works for all people all the time.
