Re: [cancercured] Re: Kind of discouraged

Joe and Co.

Ever since I witnessed an ascorbate infusion on a glioma; a work associate 1987,  I started to used ascorbate for my colds. I read Pauling's books and couldn't believe what the infusions did for Rick's tumor, so when Pauling said it would alleviate 70% of my flue symptoms, I believed him as the gospel.

My daughter caught every cold.

I gave ascorbates to my daughter who was premature; she was only year old when I started using sodium ascorbate nose drops, (per Pauling's protocol variations) I swear upon her head and Dad's grave that we never used cough medicine, I would use nose drops in her nose, (spray) as she got older I would swithed to chewables.

To this day I never get cold sores, and man I had horrible issues once in awhile.

My daughter had childhood asthma and when she had a cold, never had a crisis. It was well managed and presently not even an issue at 21 years.

The problem with ascorbate for viruses, early is awsome, late is a pain in the neck and sometime stomach.

The earlier you jump on mild symptoms the less ascorbate you will have to take to ameliorate your symptoms. A few hours can be huge!1 Really!

When I get a cold I immediately take 2,000 mg buffered instant, and 2,000mg timed released buffered.  Thats' 4,000 mg   to start. With food.  Two hours later I try to take the same dose,...and then I am ahead of the cold,...I dose as symptoms reappear,...once symptoms get fully into nasal passage or lungs, man it's a drag...your staying on the 4,000 dose repeatedly  to beat back the symptoms.

I have used vitamin c (buffered) for childrens chicken pox, put vitamin c directly on cold sores, kept elderly people alive during flue season. I have written reviews on Amazon regarding vitamin c's  application, weaknesses, and strengths.

These doses may sound high, I know,... but staying healthy is crucial if your battling a chronic illness.  Vitamin c infusions, (sodium ascorbate) go as high as 100 g. So 12,000 mg buffered, after meals, with food Not such a big number.

For viruses, ascorbates are much more effective that other applications.

I have taken 5,000 mg at one time easily.  A large dog makes up to 20,000 mg in 24 hours. All mamals make their own ascorbates, except primates and homosapiens.

You body will absorb 200 mg per hour without spilling a single speck into urine.
That almost 5,000 mg per 24 hours, you could be taking daily and using every speck of it for biological processes.

WARNINGS

Taper off all C's if you have been on them 12,000 mg daily, for more than 14 days, Cut your doses in half until you reach your maintance daily dose.

Taper up if you have weak stomach to test your tolerance. IF you have regular vitamin c, (acidic) take it with 1,000 mg tums. each dosing.  With food

Do not under dose once you start bolusing, and your cold has become stubborn,  that is worst thing you want is to let it creep into your lungs first, and then once there, you suddenly back off just for one day and all of a sudded this virus has infilitrated lung tissue, semi dormant, comes out of dormancy, your symptoms can be suddenly worse than if you had never taken the Vit c in the first place.

But if you jump on it early and hard, Stay on it!   You don't have to have but two bad colds in ten years. I swear!
